Hey all! Lydia here. Recently at BCAC, we have gotten a large request for stock work. Re-fitting, checkering, custom stocks, etc. All things which Hootey knows how to do already. I myself have always been interested in woodworking of various kinds, thanks to my dad. While I am a gun enthusiast and love learning everything that I can in regards to the gunsmithing side of the shop(Most days I am learning right along with you as we edit videos!), I think I am more drawn to carpentry. That said, there is a portion of gunsmithing that I can work on that helps feed that specific interest. So Hootey is in the process of teaching me how to do stock work and checkering so that I can help with those custom projects that are sitting in the safe. I am excited to learn this new skill and see how I can build upon it! What skill are you building right now? Does it pertain to gunsmithing?
