Veterans
We are currently on the referral list for VA Community Care and have received two veteran referrals so far. However, both have been for only 11 hours per week. We’re very interested in supporting more veterans and would appreciate any guidance on how we might receive additional referrals or increase the authorized hours for care. Any advices?

I met a social worker at the VA hospital who connected me with the VA Community Care program. I reached out to their department head, and he added me to their referral list. Since then, he has been recommending clients to me. However, the referrals have mostly been for short-hour cases, typically ranging from 11 to 16 hours per week. The VA currently pays $39 per hour in Michigan.

Long term care insurance
I received a call from a potential client whose in long term care insurance, any advices? This is my first. We provide medicaid & VA aswell. We dont have Medicaid clients as of now.
