I found myself 30 feet up
standing on top of a pole, staring at a trapeze just far enough away to make my stomach knot. On paper, itโs just a jump. But in realityโฆ it was a moment. A moment where my brain screamed โthis is unsafeโ even though I was harnessed in. A moment where my heart raced like I was in real danger. A moment where I could have stepped back down and told myself it โwasnโt for me.โ Instead, I chose to rewire the system. Because hereโs the truth: Your nervous system doesnโt know the difference between a physical leap and a business leap. It just knows fear. And every time you push through that fear, you teach your brain a new story: โI can do hard things.โ โI can move forward even when my knees are shaking.โ โI can take the leap and trust the process.โ That jump meant so much more than looking cool in a photo. It was proof that fear can live in the same place as courage, and courage can win.
