1. What was the ONE thing that you have committed to do yesterday? Have you practiced or performed that today? I committed to reducing my screen time since it was distracting. I have practised this but it's taking a while to adjust. For example, I have created a timer to use apps for only one hour a day but I will admit that sometimes I add more time to use the apps. The good thing is that I am conscious about it but now I need to be discipline to do this 2.What was the ONE thing that you have committed to AVOID yesterday? Have you broken that habit for today? I committed to avoiding sleeping very late so I could wake up earlier to plan more things to do throughout the day. I have performed that today, I have slept before 3 a.m. which is better than before but I still need more improve so I can hit my goal of sleeping before 12 a.m. 3.Share one failure below and what you have learnt as a result of this. This will enlighten others and inspire others with what you have learnt One of my biggest failures was planning a lesson last minute with a friend of mine. Basically, when I was in my first year I used to work as a debate teacher where I would teach children with another workmate. We loved our job but one day, there was a problem. While I was reading and going over the lesson plan, I didn't understand specific activities. Instead of doing the smart thing of asking other workmates for help, I left it last minute and I went to work improving some of this task. That day was an unforgettable day because it was a mixture of chaos, confusion and worries. The good thing is that the students had lots of fun despite all of these mixed emotions. I have learned a lot from this experience. For example, I have learned that when in doubt, asking for help is a good thing. This experience also taught me that despite failing my students, I should have been more prepared and more organised. If it wasn't for this experience, I would have honestly never learned 🥲
