🎄 Merry Christmas! 🎄
To every one of you walking this path — whether you’re fighting, supporting someone you love, researching late at night, or simply trying to hold things together — I want you to know how deeply respected you are. This journey is not easy. It takes courage, resilience, curiosity, and heart. And yet, despite everything, this community continues to show up with generosity, wisdom, and care for one another. That matters more than words can express. Christmas can bring joy, but it can also bring reflection, uncertainty, and mixed emotions — and all of that is okay. Wherever you find yourself today, please know you’re not alone. Wishing you peace, moments of warmth, and renewed hope as we move toward a new year together 💚

Merry Christmas @Bernardo Henriques @Svetlana Soboleva @John Brebeuf Garcia @Odette Rocha @Egg Scrambled please take time to reflect on your thriving moments in 2025 as we alter our lifestyle / habits coming into 2026. Cancer is a wake up call to shift, embrace it. Change your story to alter your Being. Sleep (sun is food, get your morning sun), Move ( inject new moves, walk backwards), Food (eat ferment food to feed your microbes not just your tastbuds)
I'm an Abrufkräfte at Deutsche Post
A fancy German word for "on call". I had the same Bezirk, Three days in a row. Thu, I delivered letters + packages. I had to bring back half of what I took. I had to pick up 1 package from 1 person. Fri, I delivered only packages. I delivered 73% successfully. I had to pick-up 7 packages from 4 people. Sat, I delivered only packages. I delivered 100%. I had no pick-ups. was the Bezirk fully delivered? no I wonder if my colleague manages on Mon. to deliver the overflowing letters + packages. there are still more remaining: 150+ packages and 200+ letters, magazines. My goal is based on what I take with me. The goal of DHL is to deliver everything. Achieving our goal, feels amazing! Setting up goals higher than what we want to achieve, creates Stress. our Nervous System, goes offline and if it continuous, it becomes Chronic. - thrive forward PS. it was a super hot day in Berlin. An absolute must day hat! PSS. when the weather is super hot, do you prefer to spend outdoors or stay indoors?

I have a confession to make..
..my beloved fellow travelers, I am a carb-addict (BIG TIME) ha-ha! => So I found Dr. Robert Cywes, MD, PhD, YT channel => he's a #CarbAddictionDoc. I've kept in my helpful quote piggy bank: "𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩," and this is so true for me => it has been handy. He gives many tips, and I thought, maybe there is someone in the same boat as me? He's all in for keto! Bonus: he is one of the participants in the animal documentary that @Lemon P graciously shared with us.. P.S. Here comes another quote: "𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩.". ~ Martyn Lloyd-Jones

2- willpower to go exact opposite of our habits, we create an unhealthy relationship with ourselves. Think of willpower as what ignites your new goal. Then habits is what makes you stick to it. It's all about consistency. Our body is not a machine, it's not a switch to turn on and off. Our body adapts and it takes time. This is why I suggest @Bernardo Henriques to go slow with his mom's tests. It's not healthy to over due tests. It simply puts our mind in fear based and we do more harm than good. In stead, wait for time to pass by. Many live in reactive state and when I made these mistakes I am now learning. Doctors scientist are great to learn from but when it comes to applying on yourself, it's important to understand your body-mind tolerance.

3- accept addiction as how humans are programmed. Smoking, drinking, gambling, eating too much sugar, unconsistant sleeping ect .. are negative addictions BUT learning, researching, reflecting, growing, reading, socializing, music, dancing, swimming, any sports are all positive addictions if you can't get enough of it.
Update on my mum’s recent PET scan
Just wanted to share where things are at with my mum’s treatment. Her latest PET scan showed a new, brighter lesion near the stomach. The team is now waiting for her tumour markers to come back from the labs, and they’ve booked more scans to get a clearer picture. They will have an MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) meeting this Thursday to review her case and discuss whether she should continue with Immunotherapy (Keytruda) or if changes need to be made to the treatment plan. She’s also developed belly and leg edema over the past few weeks, which could suggest lymphatic obstruction from cancer progression — a pattern we’ve seen happen in other cases. For now, we’re holding steady and hoping for more information from this week’s tests and meetings. I’ll update again when we know more. If anyone has experience with this kind of progression after about a year of Keytruda — or has used any supportive strategies at this stage — I’d love to hear. Not quite the news we were hoping for — but the oncologist said that if this is progression, it’s very slow, which given my mum’s aggressive cancer type shows that the protocol has at least helped to slow things down so far. For now, I’m hoping she will continue with her current protocol (because she “doesn’t want to slow it down if remission isn’t possible”) and that she will be willing to add Turkey Tail mushrooms, as they’ve been shown to help improve the immune response and support PD-1/PD-L1 therapies like Keytruda. We also haven’t done enough Methylene Blue or light yet — something I’d like to optimise — and I’m now considering adding CDS (chlorine dioxide solution) to the protocol at this point too. Also, we might switch the pulse to mon-tue-wed and stopping the Curcumin, Quercetin and Resveratrol on press days to allow the pro-oxidant therapies to work with full effect.

@Fitch T 💯 I believe cancer manifests in US due to fear. Cancer is here to wake us up to getting to know ourselves and experiencing life..create a new identity and unfold a new story in your second life. I read somewhere saying something like,."you have two lives when you've lived once" I don't know the exact wording but basically not everyone gets an opportunity to live another life. However, people with cancer have this and can overcome their cancer with a new identity. It's super cool if you ask me..It's taken meany years to change my identity. I wasn't aware I needed too..when I came to realized, I started shifting my lifestyle 3.years ago and I continue to shift, daily to build.on habits as we become a better.version. Yes Cancer forces us to bring awareness. You either choose to step into it or deny and pretend the outside care will somehow magically cure you. When the person with cancer takes responsibility of their own action, that's when healing begins.. listening to doctors is simply.continuing the fear based approach which the masses are doing..sad but true..

@Bernardo Henriques Niiice. I'm soooo happy to hear. Also quality of sleep is crucial.when it gets dark, sleep and wake up when there's light. In Berlin the summer months daylight is longer so I go to bed 9:30 and ready so that I'm sleeping by 10/10:30 and wake up at 6 as I work at Deutsche post and the days I don't, I sleep-in till 7/7:30 and if I sleep at midnight, I usually wake up around 8/8:30. Staying consistent is difficult especially in the beginning so I have an 80/20 rule. As long as you're 80% consistent, all is fine. And if you cheat, you're the only one who knows. So it's important to be kind to yourself and not be too restrictive with yourself as you do more harm than good when we restrict ourselves. It's super important to ignite a habit, your willpower but it's the small changes that stick which become a habit. We are our habits. 🙏💚😊
