Prayer of Offensive Warfare (With Scripture) Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, I do not stand on defense only—I advance by the authority You have given me. Your Word declares that “the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12). I rise today clothed in the full armor of God, not to retreat, but to push back the works of darkness. Your Word says, “Behold, I have given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19). By that authority, I tear down strongholds, cancel assignments, and break every plan that is not of You (2 Corinthians 10:4–5). I advance with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). I decree that every enemy fleeing my purpose is scattered, for “the Lord shall cause my enemies who rise against me to be defeated before my face” (Deuteronomy 28:7). Bedtime Prayer for Husband and Wife Heavenly Father, We thank You for this day and for the gift of our marriage. As we prepare to rest, we place our hearts, our home, and our covenant into Your loving hands. Your Word says, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). Forgive us for anything we said or did today that did not reflect Your love. Help us release every offense, every worry, and every burden at the foot of the cross. We choose forgiveness and unity, for Your Word declares, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32). Lord, cover our marriage with Your peace. Let no anxious thought, no fear, and no spiritual disturbance trouble our rest. We declare, “You will keep us in perfect peace, whose minds are stayed on You” (Isaiah 26:3). We ask You to send Your angels to guard our home, our minds, and our bodies through the night. As Your Word promises, “He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11). Let our sleep be sweet and our dreams be guided by You. Restore our strength as we rest. Renew our love, deepen our bond, and prepare us for tomorrow. We trust You completely, for “He gives His beloved sleep” (Psalm 127:2).
