Work Trauma Recovery Requires Feeling it to Healing It
There is now way to work trauma recovery without processing the pain of institutional and often interpersonal betrayal. There is no shortcut but there are many somatic practices that can ease the pain just enough to get you to the next stage of healing. With the right support you can even achieve professional post traumatic growth. Crying is a natural way to detox the body, release feel good hormones oxytocin and endorphins relieving physical and mental pain, complete stress response cycles, and engage support from others.

Work Trauma Recovery Requires Safety
Recovery from workplace trauma is not possible with ongoing threats of abuse. We cannot heal the hurt in our minds while our bodies brace for the next institutional betrayal. Illegal terminations are actually golden tickets with the right legal advice. Many employment attorneys give free consultation calls- visit the National Employment Lawyers Association to find an attorney. https://engagement.nela.org/NELA/NELA/findalawyer.aspx
