Help me with a major weakness please...
Hey Rocketeers, I don't usually post much about my weaknesses or my mechanical shortcomings as I try to address them by watching videos or seeking information, and I attempt to resolve problems independently (let's say I'm a bit prideful). However, today I've decided to turn to you, my boys and girls, because I've developed a BAD BAD habit while climbing to Plat, and I'm still struggling with it even now that I'm Diamond 3. The issue is: I OVERSHOOT THE BALL VERTICALLY ALMOST EVERY TIME. That's the gist of it. The ball bounces, and I try to read it? I pass over it. Backboard bounce? I miss the double touch because I slam my car into the backboard. Ball high in the air for an easy shot? I pass above it. I "vertically overshoot" pretty much any ball that's not touching the ground, and I don't know how to reset my brain and re-learn aerials the right way. I thought that high speed might be causing this, but even on slow rebounds, bounces, or aerials, I miss for the same reason... What do you guys suggest, and how could I fix this major mistake that's costing me goals and matches so many times?
