I recently watched a fun clip from a 1973 episode of "The Super Friends" and because I'm such a weirdo I thought I would share it with some thoughts. In the episode, Professor Goodfellow creates a giant computer called the G.E.E.C. that can perform nearly every job, run businesses, operate factories, teach children at home, create electronic actors and athletes, and free people from work and responsibility. Sound a little familiar? 😂 But beneath the playful presentation is a surprisingly relevant message. Technology can make life easier and remove repetitive work, but responsibility, effort, learning, relationships, and having a sense of purpose still matter....and of course learning to laugh and have fun!
