The Muse - Chris Anne. Emotions have a depth to them that only the brave would plunge into. Our essence is made of pure joy, happiness, abundance, and love. Our despair is just as deep, filled with pain, sadness, hurt, and distrust. How do we bridge the gap between the two? What commonality is there that can help us decipher what emotions are ours and what is a projection from another? Our own self is the answer; when we stand alone, we feel the elation that courses through our bodies, when in a position of bliss. We feel the pain of aloneness when gripped with fear from the past. The contrast between the two miles apart, finding the balance, where our aloneness is our friend, our creativity alive, love bursting from the seams. Knowing that we deserve all this goodness, at times, brings feelings of guilt. It takes a while to arrive at a place of peace; we need a level of stealthiness once thought of as a negative trait. To identify the gaps releases us from fate. We need to walk in the shadows, releasing the tricks and traps that keep us in pain. In the silence, we work, allowing new versions to arise from the gloom, old parts alive to allow the light in. Our crown of thorns is now a thing of the past; our being is alive, alive at last.
