The Subtle Calibration of Returning to Yourself
Weekly Alignment Tools Most people think alignment is something you “find” out there somewhere — in the perfect morning routine, the perfect mindset, the perfect moment when everything finally feels settled. But alignment isn’t discovered, it's remembered. And the truth is, you drift a little every day — not because anything is wrong, but because you’re human. Life pulls your attention in a hundred directions. Responsibilities tug. Stress distracts. Someone else’s energy brushes against yours. And before you know it, you’re slightly off-center without realizing when it happened. This week’s alignment tool is simple: Gently return to yourself… on purpose. Not with force. Not with pressure. Not with “I should be better by now.” Just a small, intentional calibration: Pause. Breathe. Ask: “What part of me needs to come home right now?” You’ll feel the answer before you think it. Maybe it’s your patience .Maybe it’s your hope. Maybe it’s your sense of worth. Maybe it’s the part of you that’s been tired, or trying too hard, or pretending you don’t need a moment of care. Alignment isn’t about becoming something new — it’s about gathering the pieces of you that got scattered while you were busy being strong. Try this once a day for one week: ✔️ Stop for 5 seconds ✔️ Put a hand over your chest ✔️ Breathe slower than you normally do ✔️ Ask, “What piece of me is missing right now?” ✔️ Let it return without judgment That’s it. Not meditation. Not mindset shifting. Just coming back. Because the version of you that remembers themselves…is always aligned.

I don’t know how I had missed this one…… I can best phrase it as my reiki returned. I know it never left me, but my ability to sense it had dulled. It flooded in through the top of my head, brining joy and turning my hands hot. I had not felt it so intensely for a few years, even though people I had worked with could feel it so I simply trusted it was there. Feeling it again is a gift. Thank you.
Alignment Is Not Urgency
There’s a subtle tension many people carry without realizing it.It sounds like motivation… but it feels like pressure. “I need to get back on track.” “I’m behind.” “I should be further along than this.” That energy isn’t alignment it’s urgency wearing the mask of progress. True alignment doesn’t rush you forward — it steadies you where you are. This week’s alignment tool is about releasing the invisible clock you’ve been measuring yourself against. Try this: Notice the moment you feel the urge to hurry. Not because something is actually urgent — but because you’re uncomfortable being exactly where you are. When that urge appears, don’t push through it. Pause instead. Ask yourself: “What am I afraid will happen if I don’t rush?” The answer usually isn’t about productivity, it’s about fear — of falling behind, being judged, missing something, or wasting time. Alignment begins the moment you stop arguing with the pace of your own life. You don’t need to catch up. You don’t need to accelerate, you don’t need to prove anything. You only need to move from clarity instead of pressure. This week, let yourself slow down without guilt. Let decisions come from steadiness, not stress Let action follow calm — not the other way around. Progress that costs you your nervous system is not progress. Alignment always feels quieter than urgency.

I love this! I have always said “I have lived my life out of order” and “I do things in my own time” as opposed to what the world thinks is the “right way” Anytime I’ve rushed to make a decision, jumped to do what was expected it has ended up feeling “wrong”. Thank you for reminding me that my timing is my own and it’s what is “right” for me.
