Where Awe Begins
Attention. Wonder. Amazement. AWE. Adventurous little boys can turn a broken stick into anything. Of course, it’s a sword… and a gun— but it’s also a snake, a magic wand, a bat, a golf club. In their hands, the ordinary refuses to stay ordinary. A simple walk in the woods or along the shoreline becomes something more— a quiet kind of magic. And if you’re paying attention, watching their imaginations unfold, you don’t just witness it… you feel it. A moment of joy rises— small, fleeting— and then, just like that, it becomes a memory. The kind you wish you could hold onto longer. So pause. Take the time to really see it. Not just the children— but the wonder moving through them. Let yourself feel the joy too. Because these moments? They don’t announce themselves. They don’t wait. They pass quietly… unless you choose to notice. And when you do— that’s where awe begins.

Childhood Memories
Using standard photographs from my childhood as inspiration, I applied the time and style to my own family of four, when my kids were little! Nostalgia can pop up out of nowhere and take us on a little journey! While these are not pictures of my family, it still took me back to their childhood. Nothing says family memories like old photographs! Who has boxes full in the basement?

What Brings You Joy?
Dancing is the New Anti-depressant
I’ve known it for a long time, but science has finally backed that dancing is a mood booster. Sync your body and movements to the music and let the feel-good vibes flow. Zumba is a favorite workout for this very reason, and Latin music always has such a fun rhythm. Yet, any dance workout with music to pump you up is a great way to get that exercise in and to uplift the spirits at the same time. If you don’t have the time for a full workout, hit play on one favorite song and go wild in your kitchen or living room! Put it on your to-do list for today, and share your experience with us here. What is your favorite kind of music? Which song did you choose? 💃🏼
