Also, it’s not coincidence that my 12-year-old daughter has been obsessed with climbing trees this week as well! It’s literally all she’s been talking about and she didn’t even know about my reading! 😂😂

Hello lovely souls, 🤍 A thoughtful question came in from a community member this week, and I think it opens up an important conversation for all of us. This person shared with me that she was following a spiritual retreat recently, where a keynote speaker spoke about the Akashic Records through the lens of channeling entities. The group was then guided to open the Records, and the experience was referred to as “channeling.” She said it felt very different from what she’s known through our work together and through another teacher she studied with. To her, it felt cold. Impersonal. That stood in contrast to how she has experienced the Records…gentle, relatable, affirming, and supportive of learning or helping someone in their search. She reached out asking for insight. 🤍 So here is mine: There are teachers who use the language of channeling when speaking about the Akashic Records. Some describe it through the lens of entities. That is their framework. My lived experience has been different. When I open the Akashic Records, I am not encountering random outside beings. I am entering a loving field of consciousness connected to the soul’s journey. It has always felt steady. Compassionate. Encouraging. Relational. Even when guidance is clear or direct, it is not cold. It is not impersonal. The presence I describe as the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones feels wise and supportive. Not dramatic. Not invasive. That doesn't mean other teachers are wrong. But it does mean you are allowed to trust your own experience. If something feels off in your body, that’s information. Discernment is not judgment. You can respect someone’s language and still say, “That doesn’t match how the Records feel to me.” I just recorded a full YouTube video unpacking this more deeply especially the difference between channeling language and how I understand the Akashic Records.
