Take over or start fresh?
I have the opportunity to take over an existing community with over 300 members. There are no course modules uploaded and the community has been neglected, but they want the information. I have a lot of experience in the niche, and have the community all mapped out already. I have graphics and outlines and training. Not everything is completely launch ready, not even close, but I have probably 20 hours worth of work invested in it already. I can take that and create a brand new community or I can take over this one if it works out. What would be best? There is already a lukewarm audience here, but when a community is neglected, how does Skool treat it? Is there still the same opportunity to be discovered? Or would I be better off just jumping full force into something brand new?

@Rose Colbourne Yup... AI in Wonderland Style. @Dena Lopez have you looks at Revenue Revolution as a template for a faceless AI skool. Raven is not in here but she is in BYOB with @Tiffany Noel Taylor she might be an interesting person to talk to, and check out her posts in BYOB and RR as you pivot.

@Rosee Creative Well then you are going to be the bomb dot com I love her stuff and recommend people her way all the time!
Welcome to the Skool Homeroom! Start here... 🍎
This community is built for people who want to actually learn, implement, and grow — not just scroll and collect ideas. Before you jump into everything, take a minute to introduce yourself so we can get to know you. You can do this in one of two ways: - Create a new post under the Roll Call category and introduce yourself. - Leave a comment below this post with your introduction. A few easy prompts if you're not sure what to say: - Your name - Where you're from - What you're currently working on - One thing you hope to learn here - Your favorite Skool memory Then head over to the New Student Orientation module in the Classroom. That lesson will show you how everything in the community works and where to begin. As you engage in the community you earn points from other members responding to your posts and comments which will help you unlock your first mystery gift. Looking forward to meeting you. Roll call starts now 👇

@Rosee Creative Hey! I guess I am the odd ball out still doing AI as me and not an Avatar... but I like it, and I am really interested to see the other side of running stuff with an Avatar. I am always so curious. My Avatar would have to be Kat!

@Rosee Creative Haters gonna hate! I got time and energy for love only! Except this one guy... I actively spend time doing silly stuff when it comes to him. I need to give that up...
👀 Something new... and it could bring you more members
Skool News #53 has some amazing updates that will help bring more members to your Skool community!! Here's what they covered this week 👇 🔍 Discovery Keywords — Live Now! - Go to Group Settings → Discovery tab to set up to 11 keywords for your community - Think about what your ideal members would actually search for... your topic, what you teach, things related to what's in your community - Don't keyword stuff... putting irrelevant keywords (like "AI" when your group has nothing to do with AI) will only hurt your results - Keywords won't affect search results yet... new search drops early May, that's when they'll kick in Lots of exciting changes coming to Discovery over the next 90 days... this could be a big deal for organic growth on the platform. How comfortable do you feel about choosing the right keywords to get your community found?

I hope they focus on more honest connection and not just people who are paid to engage all day to boost numbers, it's just as bad as AI doing it.
30 Day Membership Growth Updates
For all those who've joined the 30 day membership growth sprint, I've added some info to the classroom. In the 5 Playing Fields lesson, you'll find the downloadable cheat sheet that Karin requested. I've also added a Growth Tracker Revision page with a video walkthrough. I'd love your feedback, on the updates. @Rebecca Bautista @Karin Crawford @Angel Conway @Jean Day McCarthy @Pamela Igwe @Heather Di Rocco
