Just gonna leave this right here. It still, every time…. Looks like shit till I stand up and look at it from 6’ away. Every single time. So when you feel that way, just know that is part of the process.

When Skool and IRL collide! I have more to share but wow did we have a full day! Both @Heather Boers and Malia COMPLETED their paintings in ONE DAY! We had so much fun - chatting, connecting. It was so nice for me because Heather and I have had enough meet ups on Skool that I wasn't apprehensive about the chemistry being weird IRL. It felt like we were just friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. I feel like that with so many of you here in our beautiful community and I want to meet you all IRL someday.

I study what’s under the skin. Understanding the quads are helpful to know what I’m seeing. Where the light hits and why. A little too much blue in the shadows but I can fix that in layer two. Commission in progress. 2 hours a day is the goal. Can I finish by months end?

I get to meet @Heather Boers IRL today. She is making a 2.5 hour drive to my studio for a mom/daughter day. I’m ready!
