Weekend Creativity!
What are you all doing to get your creative juices flowing this weekend? I'm going to be making Valentine's for a group event on Wednesday, recording some content for inside the premium Skool section, and probably playing with my Dremel engraving tool I got for Christmas 🥰 I'll share photos as I go! I'd love to see pics of whatever you do or make!

Welcome to Life, After
Thank you for joining Life, After - we're so glad you found this space. Being told you have breast cancer, especially at a young age, is a life changing event with a clear "before" and "after", this space is for the "after" - all of it. Please introduce yourself below 🩷 What was your diagnosis and age when you found out? What's one thing you hope to gain inside the group? And what's something fun you enjoy doing? I want you all to feel comfortable posting and sharing your lows and your highs. We're here for all of it! I have created group categories and they function in a pretty neat way. You can tag a topic when you create a post, and please do. When people come looking for help within a certain topic, they can click that topic and quickly find posts that may help them, if they'd rather read than make a new post (but please, feel free to make new posts!). The topic feature also lets you bypass topics you may not be wanting to think about, in the moment, so it's handy for that also. One last housekeeping thing - we do have a few group rules. By participating in the group you are agreeing to them, and they are linked below for easy access. Mainly, I'm not a doctor, and nothing shared inside this group is medical advice. You should always check with your physician to decide what is safe for your personal health situation. Thanks for being here! *By participating in this group you are acknowledging our rules: https://www.skool.com/life-after-8184/-/rules

I'll start! I was 38 when I was diagnosed with stage 2b triple positive IDC with multivocal tumors and node involvement. I hope to gain some new friends! I have found that the women I have met because of my breast cancer are the most genuine friends I've had. Maybe it's the common struggle that creates that authentic bond, I think this journey simply changes us for the better by showing us what truly matters in life. I'm a lifelong mountain biker 🚵🏼‍♀️ nothing makes me feel more alive and free than being in the woods on my bike 🩷

Feel More Like YOU Again
Imagine a place where you can go for all of your breast cancer needs.
That’s what I’m creating inside Life, After. It’s for life — after the suspicious mammogram, after the biopsy and the wait for results, after the official diagnosis, after everything changes. There are some amazing spaces on the internet for young breast cancer patients and survivors, but I’ve yet to find one that hosts everything I need in one place. In Life, After, you’ll find: 🤍 a space to talk with other women who understand you without you needing to explain it in depth 🤍 gentle guidance and support from someone who’s been there and gets how disorienting this can be 🤍 resources to help calm your nerves when you need it most 🤍 financial resources for patients as well as fun opportunities 🤍 creative outlets — opportunities to make art together, journal together, meditate, etc. 🤍 opportunities for ongoing connection and live support 🤍 a space where you can relax — you won’t be judged for how you feel or how you cope (I, for one, have a dark sense of humor) This is a place you can come back to — no matter what stage you’re in. I'm so glad you're here 🥰 Please introduce yourself if it feels right!
