A Xmas gift for getting here early…
This space is just getting going, but seeing as you are already here, let the gifts begin. Head over to ChatGPT, start a new post and stick the 🎁 (gift emoji) into the thread and see what happens. Let us know in the comments what you got…naughty or nice?

3...2...1...Let's Do This
Starting something new is always scary...but imagine if we never took the leap and only ever stuck to the places that felt comfortable? This is the first post in a brand spanking new space, and I am so glad that you are here to witness it with me. So how about we start with a reminder of why new things are flipping amazing (as well as scary), and lets see what we are made of. Say hello below, and share an example of something new you have recently done...or about to do so we can all cheerlead your bravery and commitment to your evolution...and if it has involved AI or emerging tech even better. Right...over to you....

I was recently looking for a new challenge at work as I was starting to feel a bit bored. I've helped make massive cultural changes in the team since I joined 7 years ago but have started to feel a bit stagnant in the last few months. There isn't a promotion opportunity coming any time soon and I do enjoy what I do; I feel valued and like I make a difference but the challenge was somewhat lacking. I decided I wanted to learn something new so I set about looking for something that will enhance my role rather than being something unrelated. I do still enjoy my job, I'm not ready to leap into something completely new, yet. I found a Teacher Mentoring Programme (I work in adult education) and I asked if it would be possible and management have said yes! For the past 5 weeks I have been mentoring some early careers teachers within our service and I'm finding it very rewarding. I have also been asked by my running club to become a Run Leader, so when my mentoring course finishes in February, I'll be straight onto something else. None of this involves AI but it is all new to me and I'm looking forward to learning new things.
