I build AI Voice systems for businesses and I'm currently calling cleaning businesses. My opener is usually: "Hey NAME, are you gonna throw your phone across the room if I told you this was a sales call?" or " Hey NAME, you're gonna hate me for this but this is actually a sales call. So would you like to hang up now or give me 30 sec?" If they say they're not interested right out of the gate I usually say: "Is that just because of my voice or the fact that you hate sales calls?" I did have a few good responses but 90% hung up or shut me down immediately. If anyone could help me with my opener and to get to the pitch more often that would be much appreciated!
