No Other Way
In life we can seek knowledge to educate our mind. Or we can seek consciousness. One will satisfy our mind and ego. The other will reveal more life within us. Our mind, emotions, and imagination limit our experience of consciousness. This is why we hunger for more life. Something within us knows there is more. But our mind, ego, imagination and emotions deny its existence. To find more life we must deny our mind control over us. There is no other way.

I really like the distinction between gaining knowledge and developing consciousness. Sometimes we can know a lot intellectually but still lack awareness of how our own thoughts and emotions influence us. This definitely gives me something to reflect on.
