📊 QUICK TRADING QUESTION
If you could improve ONLY ONE thing in your trading right now, what would it be? 1️⃣ Better entries 2️⃣ Better exits 3️⃣ Risk management 4️⃣ Discipline/consistency 5️⃣ Reading charts Drop the number + why below 👇 I'm curious what everyone is working on.

@Dan Alaimo Absolutely. One big red day can erase several days of good execution, which is why consistency and risk management seem so connected. Even when the setup is good, keeping that one loss under control makes such a difference over a series of trades.

@Don Braun That’s a really interesting shift. I think exits are something that can be overlooked because so much focus goes into finding the perfect entry. A good entry can put you in the trade, but the exit is what determines how much of the move you actually capture. I'm trying to focus more on having a clear exit plan before entering so I’m not making that decision emotionally while the trade is moving.
Something I've been thinking about lately...
A good setup doesn't always mean it's a good trade. Sometimes the chart looks perfect, but the market environment, sector strength, or overall momentum just isn't there. I've been trying to look at the bigger picture before getting focused on the entry: Market → Sector → Stock → Setup → Entry It seems simple, but I think skipping those first few steps is where a lot of forced trades start.

@Don Braun That's a great point. I think you're right that a strong individual stock/sector can still outperform even when the broader market isn't ideal. I'm trying to view the market context as a filter rather than a strict rule something that helps me understand the odds, but doesn't automatically invalidate every setup.

@Pal M I feel that too 😂 Sometimes the hardest part isn't finding a setup, it's slowing down enough to ask whether it's actually the right moment to take it. I think having a process before entering helps remove some of that impulse.
