@Nadia Mashnitskiy Greetings Nadia. The customers that have inquired about the Live Scan either said that is what was required and the card was not an option. Regarding partnering, not crazy about that idea for a couple of reasons; 1) Typically, the customer keeps the card to return it to the respective HR office. Keeping the card and explaining to the customer what I'm going to do may not be acceptable to them or the HR office. 2) Partnering would be a shared effort/cost. And since there are so few Live Scan offices in my [immediate] area, it may be difficult to find one willing to share. How much are you charging?? And if you share, what is the split?? 3) I would have to raise my price to make it worthwhile. I would rather do it myself at the customer's location

I know I'm a tad late answering this question, but I have to keep reminding myself why I want to do it. I retired about five months ago. I'm trying to get this business up and running, because, while I don't mind working, I don't want to have to punch another 8-5 clock. This business will allow me to gain income without the day-to-day regulation of a regular job. I also feel like me doing this for people is helping them start another chapter in their lives, just like me with this business.
