As I wrote this title, I realized how much this happens when you are single and think you found the one… then, boom, not!! Then you meet someone and your guard is up… sometimes saying things that are out of context and affects the current relationship…. I get it! Our heart does not want to hurt anymore…. I truly believe there is someone out there that will understand, cherish and love you in ways you cannot imagine! Keep trying. Keep showing up! Keep being yourself in all of this! I am a Canadian who moved to Australia almost 3 years ago. I am planning on bringing my partner for the first time to my home town! I am in tears with feelings I cannot explain. Why am I sharing?
