Woo Hoo !!!
I have obtained a training partner !!! A close by nephew has graciously offered to learn CST WC…and things in my bag of long gained knowledge… he referred to it as “Ninja S&*t” (jokingly). He does know of Wing Chun and a Donny Yen fan… I’m stoked to begin his journey

Woahhh...sounds cool🔥
Small questions in a deep thoughts
What happens if my opponent is faster than me? But what generates more power? A planted foot or explosive movement. Stable stance prevents takedowns, but what prevents takedowns better? Being unmovable or being unavailable

Hi, I’m Eric I live in San Diego CA and I plan on developing self defense I want to get these 2 things from the community: 1.  How to defend myself 2.  How to build resilience mentally and physically For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Spend time with friends 2.  Snowboarding 3.  Hiking

@Eric Wells welcome
Wing chun stance
I heard that the idea being that a stable foundation ( wing chun stance) is to generate maximum potential power...but I always have this question in my mind Fighting isn't static. In real fights we will be dealing with constant movement, angle changes, rapid transitions. A rooted stance is like planting a tree. Great for staying and fighting in one place. But will it be good For adapting to chaos? @Sifu John Cogan sifu i also wanna know how u see this question

New to Kung Fu
Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year! This is my first time learning about Kung Fu ever, and although I am nervous, it feels exciting to start this new journey at 63 years young😆 I live in the mountains of Southern Oregon that gives my spirituality a boost. I look forward to getting to know folks and joining my first class.
