I had my first sale just after I had 100listings and my shop had been open just shy of 2months. I watched the videos and they are really helpful and also point out that it can take time so don't give up creating and listing. I have listened to alot of podcasts about POD and etsy etc and they all lean heavily on time, patience and trending ahead for example christmas in july, summerween etc. I use my farm animals and have them doing crazy things as my shop so I can use the trends to fit fairly well. Life has been crazy on the farm recently so POD and etsy fits really well for me. The virtual flock can do some heavy lifting whilst I'm busy with the real flock and I then do more designs and listing after the kids are in bed or its a rainy day. TBH I'm not expecting much traction until 1000 listings and getting pinterest going. When I hit 100listings I saw the change in traffic on the shop stats. Im still very new to it all but I'll keep chipping away at it because by next year it will be so different to where it is now.
