Bonus Tool ~~ Nervous System Strategies
Do you have any go-to strategies to regulate your nervous system, and get your cortisol in check? Here are a few of my most recent habits that I've stacked one-by-one (not all at once) that seems to be helping me feel more balanced and regulated. I'm definitely still working on it. - 🟠 Amber glasses for screens during the day, ❤️ red glasses when the sun goes down. - 🚶‍♀️ Walk 3 laps of my long driveway every morning to get morning light and gentle movement before looking at any screens. - 🍳 30g of protein for breakfast (and protein-anchor every meal). - 🥗 Not under-eating — nourishing my body well instead of restricting. - 💧 Hydration with plenty of water and electrolytes. - 🏋️‍♀️ STRENGTH TRAINING — my absolute favorite tool for building stress resilience! 💪 I created a Cortisol Habits Score Quiz you can walk through here. I'd love to hear how you score? No judgement. https://cortisol-habits-score.netlify.app/

@Lydia Cox Yes! I love your habit "stack". I think it would be so fun to DANCE more. I did get on a tube behind a boat with my teen son yesterday - and THAT was a blast. I think I could use more PLAY too. I can take things too seriously at 46 sometimes.
I can't live without...
What are 5 things you buy every single week without fail, and generally can't live without in your kitchen? Rank them in order if you like.

@Lydia Cox Okay, now I'm curious to know what you're making with all these ingredients?
🥘 Bundle Friends, Welcome to the Kitchen
Hey friend, if you found your way here from the Community to Cashflow Bundle, welcome! Come on into my kitchen, I already put the kettle on for you. 🫕 Here's what I'd bet about you: you came home this week with a cart full of good intentions and zero plan for what happens to any of it by Wednesday. I've stood in that exact spot more times than I can count, four kids circling the counter like seagulls, wondering how "I bought all this good food" somehow turned into "I still don't know what's for dinner." So I built the thing I wished existed. Meet Your Nourished Week, a free AI tool that handles the one part of meal planning nobody actually enjoys: staring blankly into your fridge trying to make it make sense. Snap a photo of your grocery haul, your pantry shelf, even a crumpled receipt, or just type out what you've got, and in under a minute it hands you back a real 5-day plan — breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, three easy Sunday prep tasks, and a short list of anything worth grabbing to round it out. No recipe rabbit holes. No fifteen tabs open. No standing in front of the pantry at 4:30 having a small existential crisis. 🌻 This is progress over perfection, built right into a tool. You don't need a perfectly stocked kitchen or a color-coded system, you need something that works with what's already in your hands, and this does that in about the time it takes your coffee to brew. 👉 Give it a try: meal-prep-guide.netlify.app Once your week is mapped out, come back and tell me what's on the menu, I love seeing what everyone lands on. So glad you found your way here. ~Gwen

@Jessica Cosci wow, you really are lucky! I'm pretty lucky that my husband does all the grocery shopping (since covid). Happy to have you here, Jessica!
🌾 Welcome to the table. - START HERE
Hey, I'm Gwen. Come have a seat!🌻 You're here because you're already capable. You know your way around a kitchen. You've been feeding people you love for years, and probably feeding them well. You might not have a system that's working optimally for your body in midlife. That's it. That's the gap. This is a kitchen-first community for midlife women who want more nourishment, more strength, and more capacity for the life they're already building. Not another set of rules. Not one more thing to perfect. We learn real food together. 🥖 Fresh milled baking, sourdough, broths, real rhythms in the kitchen. We learn to fuel our bodies well. 💪 Protein, strength, energy that actually holds through your day. And we do it without extremes, without perfectionism, and without pretending any of this has to look a certain way to count. You don't need fixing. You need simpler systems. That's what we're building here, together. 🌼 Ready to jump in? ☑️ Introduce yourself below. Tell us what you're building, in the kitchen or in life. ☑️ Say hello to someone. Connection is part of the nourishment here. ☑️ Tell us one thing you're excited to learn. We want to know what brought you here. Welcome to the table. 🌾

@Anna Marie Ramirez Hey there! So glad you're here! I hear you on that - we're even doing a little course correcting towards the end of the summer away from some processed conveniences that don't really serve us the best long term. There are definitely ebbs and flows in the seasons! What are your go-to home made meals?

@Angie Keasler hey there! My mom grew up in Indiana and much of her big fat Greek family was there so we used to visit OFTEN from Ohio. What part? I'm curious if you find scratch made food to be pricier than not? I'm cooking for a youth retreat and bought lots of whole foods to make simple meals for them, and the price tag is high, but I was thinking it is potentially cheaper than buying convenience foods for them. Maybe I'm wrong. I will say, the grocery bills have been wild either way. So happy to have you here Angie! What are go-to scratch made meals in your home?
