A good free resource
I came across a great free video resource a while ago, not for commercial use, but awesome for teaching or personal content. https://openplanet.org/browse/

I believe so, hopefully it catches on and grows, it would be a wonderful way to boost creators content availability

Hi Guys, Greg Norris from South Africa here. My interest in cinematography started with action cameras and was mostly fueled by frustration with being unable to match even the mediocre posts that I saw, being a bit of a competitive human drive me to explore cinematography further - I now make parts for underwater cameras and am keen on widening my knowledge base within the industry and hopefully capture that perfect shot.

@Morgan van den Berg there’s a familiar face! Welcome aboard!
Air bubbles on the dome
Hello, hope you are keeping well! A question, I found myself in a pond trying to film water lilies and other little things. All the green things were producing a lot of oxygen and you could see the bubbles on the plats which was really cool. BUT, these tiny bubbles stuck EVERYTHING, including my dome (which has seen better days for sure) and made it hard to focus. Do any of you have a trick of not getting them to stick? I was trying to wave them away without touching or hitting the dome but it was hard. See attached screen grab for what I mean.

Hi Sara, I’ve had the same issue on multiple occasion, really ruins footage! You can put some baby shampoo on the dome before you get into the water (make sure it’s aqua safe and non toxic) or you can use a tiny emphasis on tiny) bit of sure wax which you the polish into the dome - this takes a while but lasts longer. Some people swear by spit but mine seems to be defective 😂
