Summer's over. 2026 is almost done. If you could accomplish ONE financial goal before the year ends, what would it be? Feel free to write as much as you would you like, we really want to hear from you.
Hello Nicole, any precious metals is a great store of value that keeps pace with inflation. Fiat currency loses value daily. We need Fiat/paper money to pay bills but a percent should be invested in PMs. Turkey is on my list to visit and will definitely see if any tariff implications to purchase and bring back from there. Hopefully, it is duty free below a certain amount.
@A Shonekan great research and yes the certified assayers are here from Turkey: Nadir Metal Refinery: Accredited by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) for both gold and silver, with a laboratory accredited by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) under ISO/IEC 17025 standards. - Istanbul Gold Refinery (IGR): Certified by Borsa Istanbul and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), holding LBMA Good Delivery status for gold. - AgaBullion / Aleks Metals Refinery: A prominent BIST member and precious metals processor operating in Turkey. - ISGOLD: Operates an advanced laboratory in Turkey providing certified secure packaging systems and assays. - Another recommendation would be to bring a Sigma Metalytics Verifier Pro with wands and extension board for large bars that can test your precious metals before purchasing to ensure authenticity. It uses electromagnetic resistivity to go straight through the metal not just the surface. They are very portable and rechargeable.

@Darlene Brown 1 other thing there are overlaps so research the overlaps and lean on what you feel is relevant. Of course I am not a fiduciary just researching like you.
