Would you buy gold in Turkey?
Buying gold is a common practice in Turkey. Gold is used for gifting, money, and for savings. Would you travel to Turkey to buy Gold as an investment?

Hello Nicole, any precious metals is a great store of value that keeps pace with inflation. Fiat currency loses value daily. We need Fiat/paper money to pay bills but a percent should be invested in PMs. Turkey is on my list to visit and will definitely see if any tariff implications to purchase and bring back from there. Hopefully, it is duty free below a certain amount.

Good morning everyone I have my Fidelity account that I had from my old job so I still have that Fidelity account which I’m kind of really like Fidelity because I’ve had it for over 10 years even though I wasn’t using it, it’s been part of my financial journey since I was paying into it with my job Today is a new day and I need to get more familiar with the Schwab platform Today I’m gonna actually try to buy ETF Wish me luck

@Darlene Brown 1 other thing there are overlaps so research the overlaps and lean on what you feel is relevant. Of course I am not a fiduciary just researching like you.
