To kick things off, please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know... #1 - Who are you, where are you from and who do you work with? #2 - What do you want to get out of being in this community? #3 - For fun what do you like to do? #4 - Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to do work from. I'll go first... #1 - I'm Jean šŸ‘‹ A professional pilot who has spent my life mastering the craft. I now work as a chief pilot for a large company in Canada, that operates business jets globally. I am a husband and father of 3, and my passion has been to pursue the Golden Rule, and serve those around me (including my beloved family) with all my skill and passion. #2 - In line with #1, my heart and passion is to give back and pursue the Golden Rule in every way possible. Here on Skool, it means giving back to this awesome community through what I've learned in my 20+ years of professional experience #3 - I'm a creative at heart. Hello everyone, my name is Greg Papanikolaou and I currently live in Toronto. I am a strategy consultant by trade helping companies build business models and explore opportunities to grow their business. Most recently I am immersed in the world of venture helping my current employer, a bank, to explore opportunities to collaborate with early stage fintechs to co-create value. On the other hand the world of aviation is where the heart beats. There was always a fire kindling and finally a few years ago I started taking flight lessons and this past August I officially earned my PPL. While this was an exciting milestone I have quickly realised that earning my PPL is a license to learn. Every time I go up there I try to learn something new and sharpen existing skills. I want to be comfortable taking friends and family with me and to do so I need to be a safe pilot first and foremost. I continuously strive to build my technical, behavioural and decision making skills. This is where I believe this forum and community will be of great value ie learning from all of you in my pursuit of continuous learning and becoming a safer and more proficient pilot; and hopefully I can add value through my experiences and my professional background. I am married and have two children that both want to be pilots. My eldest is in her first year in an aviation university program…and I would like them to also be safe and proficient. As for fun in addition to flying I enjoy travelling… spending quality time with my family and friends and road cycling … and as a future stretch goal, I’d like to think of combining my business background and aviation to potentially start a project initiative or even a company….something that will be fun, challenging and rewarding. So I look forward to participating in this channel as part of my journey and I look forward to meeting other people that have a passion for aviation and learning. To close here are a few pictures in my happy place … studying for my flight test getting ready to fly.

I would suggest all of the above …while technology and various networking apps are absolutely a great tool … meeting people in person across multiple forums whether it’s at the airfield at a conference in the classroom at an industry event… is at the top of the list for me. Greg
