We are moving from Lisbon to Porto. We just got a quote from a moving company 45€ an hour (which includes 3 people) and 1€ per kilometer (332 km). Does this price sound about right? we don’t have much stuff .. just the basics few chairs a rug,a table, plates, cups, etcThanks !!!!

Today, at the SMdP meetup, @Phil Ruff was talking about a film night where we might watch a popular feature film, e.g. The Matrix, in Portuguese. A good idea, especially combined with food and wine, at a venue like Dona Branca in Caldas Da Rainha. Let us know if you fancy it, esp. if on Silver Coast. It also reminded me of some recommendations from a good Portuguese friend of the show, and occasional viewer/commentator Eurico... "I take the liberty of sending you two feature films on this special day for the Portuguese [it was April 25th]. Honestly, I think I'm contributing to knowing a little about our temperament. One of the films focuses on a little of our history from the perspective of the setbacks that have arisen in our history, so no problem! In the second film, a romanticized version with some playfulness of the events of the day of the revolution, which is celebrated today." 1. NON, OU A VÃ GLÓRIA DE MANDAR - a Portuguese feature film directed by Manoel de Oliveira. It deals with the history of Portugal as told by Lieutenant Cabrita to the men in his company in the middle of the colonial war. 2. CAPITÃES DE ABRIL - based on the military coup d'état that took place in Portugal on April 25, 1974, and pays homage to the young soldiers who rescued their homeland from that dark time, with particular emphasis on Salgueiro Maia.
