I'm wanting to do more with my mapping. I've done basic stuff in DaVinci but the malls and how they work has confused me. Essentially I want to have several facades with Animations over the top with the ability to play different movie clips and scenes on windows and doors. Am I better off with a doesn't software created more for beginners? I've looked at illumibot and like the idea but not sure about being locked in to a device like that and subscriptions. At least lumebox does not require a piece of hardware. Maybe I'm just over thinking how hard the free software will be but I have yet to find good information on how i go about building what I have envisioned with the areas to project on to.

Question! Does anyone know how to remove the background from a second layer? I mapped out my house (see pic below) and I purchased some animated characters from atmosfx. The issue is that the original background to the character is still there and it removes part of the first layer. I have tried everything! Help!!!

The projector link was going to the wrong pdf file. It's fixed now, may have to refresh the page. Thank you for feedback on it.
