Hey Lads, Quick question: What is your biggest concern about being a Dad?

Hey, I thought I'd share some really positive news from our household! Our little girl has gone a whole week without an accident! But this time 3 weeks ago I felt like we'd never get her out of nappies! Things started so well, but suddenly she would just literally pee and poo wherever, no thought of getting to the toilet. She seemed bored of us constantly asking her if she needed to go. So we went back into nappies and let her dictate to us a bit more when she wanted to go. Hilariously our first trip out of the house she asked to use the toilet. A completely dry nappy and a wee on the loo, and all because we let her decide rather than constantly being on her case. Now a few weeks later, she's back in playgroup and telling us and celebrating every time we get on the loo! It actually taught me so much about patience, and to remember that there are some thing's you can't rush!

1: Their first poop is disgusting. It’s made up of what was in their stomach in the womb. It’s black and it’s like Tar! Be Warned. 2: They have Rhythm. As babies they understand basic beats and are pretty receptive to music. This can be useful when trying to soothe or calm them down. 3: Don’t Expect a smile before 8 weeks. No matter how good your Dad Jokes your kid will not be able to show you until this time period. So Save the jokes or be sure to tell your partner instead. She’ll love them. Probably.
