Something New in Start Here
Years ago, I sat in a class I was teaching and said out loud something I never thought I'd be able to say: "I have overcome depression." That teaching is now a printable ebook, and it's waiting for you in the Start Here course. If you've ever wondered whether there's more for you than just getting through the day, this one is for you. Go take a look, and then come back and tell me: what's one thing you believe is possible for you this season?

Luminous
Root & Meaning: Latin luminosus, from lumen, "light." The Lie: I have to earn my own light. The Truth: Luminous has always described something already filled with light, not something striving to create it. The Declaration: "I am already luminous. I'm not striving to create the light, I'm carrying it."

I read the preview twice - Demystifying Depression
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm an Olive member, so I only have the intro and Chapter 1. I read it twice, and the second time I cried. The "just sad" part got me. For a long time I told myself I was tired. Stressed. Going through a season. I was still getting up, still getting things done, still looking fine to everyone. Who was I going to tell? Nobody asked, and I didn't say. Then I got out a notebook and answered the reflection questions. On the first page I wrote, "I'm not just tired." I had never written that down or said it out loud. I sat there and let it be true. It's the first time in a long time I've taken what I'm feeling seriously. The word depression meaning "something pressing down," not something I am, is on a sticky note on my mirror now. I read it every morning. Something is pressing on me. That's not who I am. One star off because the preview ends after Chapter 1. She brings up spiritual warfare early on but saves it for Chapter 10, and I want to see how she handles it. My faith is bruised right now, and I'm being honest about that. I'll get the full book when I can.
Demystifying Depression is Here
Good new day, Pressed, Not Crushed family. Something I have been working on for a while is now ready for you inside the classroom. Demystifying Depression: The Truth That Sets You Free is here. This book was written from a place of healing, not theory. It was written for the person who has ever sat in the dark and wondered if the light was coming back. And now it is inside this community, built into the classroom in a way that meets you exactly where you are. If you have been following my Suicide Prevention Month series on YouTube, you have seen me reading excerpts from this book. Now inside Pressed, Not Crushed, you get to read it for yourself. Here is what is waiting for you based on your membership level. Olive members receive Demystifying Depression: Where It Begins. Before you can dismantle a lie, you have to name it. This installment walks you through the front matter and Chapter One, where we name depression honestly and begin replacing what you have been told with what is actually true. Vine members receive Demystifying Depression: The Full Truth. This is the full journey. All fifteen chapters, eight myth-busting truths and seven chapters on building wholeness that lasts. Everything you need to go all the way to the root and walk away whole. Pearl members receive Demystifying Depression: The Complete Experience. Everything you need to go deeper is here. The full book, the complete Reflection Questions Journal, and a live walkthrough class with Mary where we work through the truth together. This is the most supported way to walk through Demystifying Depression, from naming what you carry to protecting what you build and walking away whole. Head to the classroom and find what is waiting for you at your level. If this book has already been on your heart, this is your sign. With love, Mary

Glow
Root & Meaning: Old English glowan, "to shine as if with heat." The Lie: I have to be loud to be noticed. The Truth: A glow was always quiet light, still fully visible without needing to be loud. The Declaration: "I am glowing. Quiet light is still real light."
