How present are you? I get it life is busy! But are you the person on autopilot, doesn’t remember the drive to work/school? Rushing the kids to finish breakfast? Do you spend the majority of your thoughts dwelling on the past (which creates guilt/regret) or thinking/worrying/fabricating the future (which creates anxiety/Sadness/depression) 🤔 Yesterday is gone and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, your power and your control lives in the NOW moment 💡 When your not present you miss vital moments like the smile or the wave your child gave you when you dropped them off at school or the story they told you when you were too busy to listen or the moments in the movie cos your lost in thought or like Ben he just wants me to stop, sit so he can play with my hand to help him regulate 🩵 Someday these will be the moments your dwelling on wishing you’d paid more attention……. Ladies apologises I’ve been quiet this week, we are in the thick of mini intensive for Ben so it’s been a busy week. Live calls commence this Tuesday at 8pm. The 1st time I came across this quote a light bulb literally went off in my mind, it would be the turning point of how I was perceiving my reality 💜Changing your internal perspective from one of judgement & frustration to one of acceptance & curiosity, the world around you may stay the same but your experience of your reality will shift entirely 🩷Instead of reacting to life’s stresses a shifted perspective allows you to respond with clarity & peace✨ 💜If a situation frustrates you or makes you sad, pause & consciously look for a positive angle or a lesson to be learned. (Trust me the positives are there you just need to be open to seeing them) 🩷Completely surrender & Let go of how you think things “should” be & embrace them exactly as they are (this was massive for me) 💜Stop viewing obstacles as roadblocks & start seeing them as opportunities for growth.
