💙 Help Skool Help YOU! (Re: Growth Boost)
If you're a Skool group owner who sends traffic to your Skool about page and/or you want more members to find your group, this new program could be really important to know about. On Tuesday, Skool announced this new program: the Growth Boost. Video 1 shared at the bottom of this post explains it in more detail, but here's the summary along with some helpful resources. ⬇️ ➡️ THE FULL SCOOP ABOUT GROWTH BOOST: - Skool is now sending paid ad traffic to Skool groups, both directly to groups and to the Discovery. - If Skool gets you paid members from the Skool Network, you will pay a 30% commission much like paying an affiliate. If it's a one-time payment, you will pay once. (for classroom and/or membership purchases) If it's a recurring membership, it will be recurring. - If they don't get you paid members, you will not pay anything for the ads running to your Skool. - Attribution is on a group-by-group basis, so if you own multiple groups, the source can be different for the same member in different groups. - This is likely to massively increase the number of Skool users over time because they're diverting ad spend from getting new Skool group owners, to getting new members for existing Skool groups. - As it is currently designed, the Skool network includes visitors who find you from the Discovery, from Skool ads, from the recommended groups side bar in Hobby groups, and from visiting your profile. - More info about traffic sources here >> https://help.skool.com/article/226-traffic-sources - 💖 Full Disclosure: I personally was initially less than thrilled that profile visits are included in this mix because these are typically the result of making connections in Skool. I believe the Skool Network OVERALL will grow so much, however, that this will only be for everyone's benefit and that there would be more friends to connect with on Skool. I believe that the math works out here overall. ➡️ WHEN YOU WILL *NOT* BE CHARGED FOR GROWTH BOOST MEMBERS:

@Éva Raposa Yes, I got it right off the bat but still -the madness right now is real. There have been some things said that, well I shall not repeat but some are just mad. But then I realize one KEY THING that always has been true: Mad. The internet is always mad. Someone will always not like it. Someone will always like it. I'm simply gettin’ to old for this crap lol. Focus up - instead of complaints, I'm more of “how can I make this work for my area” vs the easy way out of yapping about how terrible this is. I seriously appreciate your perspective, always have always will because you have a depth of experience which I cannot ignore. So there. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee

@Rebecca Bautista Funny enough, this has been top idea in my messages. Similar stuff like “well I'll just create this group and they go straight there skip this nonsense” in not so many words lol. Valid idea! Edit: hope the kayak was awesome! I love kayaking (linked in photo w/ Eva I saw).
The 🔥 Flame Emoji on Skool
When you're online and have 10+ engagements for 30 days in a row, you get a FLAME by your name. I have it right now. But in 24 hours, it will be gone. I'm going offline on purpose. It's simply because I'm not here for emojis. I'm here for - friends - community - business - growth And so much good!! But not for emojis. I'm making just this ONE post, though, so that my profile has a lovely light green for today, rather than gray! One of the BIGGEST struggles with the emoji dance is that it literally becomes a part of your identity. I don't want that. So that's why I feel that I need to do this. But also... I love the idea of better boundaries! And so it is!

Yep. All you have to do to keep it is like 10 things and you’ll keep your ‘activities’ up. Silly emojis shall not define mr bear
Éva Raposa's Official Skool Blog (2026)
Welcome to the 2026 version of my Official Skool Blog. Let's GO! What You'll Find Here: - Genuinely useful posts about best practices in Skool - Shared by a Skool-obsessed gal who has owned multiple top 1% groups and won the Skool Games (for the Connect & Collab group, we have a pretty awesome thing going there) - Favorite Skool groups and the cool things happening in those groups - Curated mix of some bangin' posts from around Skool What You WON'T Find Here: - Naval-gazing personal bits -- like what I ate for a snack today - Tons of personal stuff about me -- although sometimes I'll share personal stuff in the mix if it feels special and worthwhile enough - Boring rants (if we have a rant, the hope is that it will at least be interesting) How Often I'll Post: - Could be as often as 3-7x each week - Probably not ever more than once daily unless there's a really good reason - We'll see as the year goes on, won't we?! Quick Background: - This started as an experiment, but in the last month or so I was too busy winning the Skool Games to keep it rolling (such a cool flex 💪🫠) - The flex was somewhat tongue in cheek. That last month was insane, and I had no sense of balance. It actually felt like some kind of miracle that we won! 😃 - I love the photo shared with this post because it might display just a tiny fraction of the obsession I have with Skool. - Pictured: my husband Carlos, married to this amazing man since 2005, the Skool Cat (ha!), and me (hi! ::waving::) P.S. It's a "blog" but is also technically a group. Feel free to join by clicking the "JOIN GROUP" button, but you won't be able to post like in a normal group.

💩 Funnels vs. 🌻 Fellowship in Freemium Communities...!
BOY OH BOY I've been thinking a lot about the conversation Martin started yesterday after our chat! BASICALLY, WE HAVE TWO OPTIONS: 1️⃣ FUNNEL-First Community = the community exists as a funnel, plain and simple 2️⃣ COMMUNITY-First Community = community is there for us to connect, even if it is also part of a business ecosystem which has paid offers. STAY WITH ME HERE on the incoming analogy... This got me thinking about how my daughter is 14, and now we have to teach her to be wary of boys. For some reason, when teenage boys' hormones get crazy, they're not always thinking of the girl and her brains and jokes and HER AS A PERSON. "NOTCH ON THE BELT" feels - honestly? GROSS - like there is the conquistador and then the conquest - as though one person is essentially there just to be used and tossed FUNNEL-FIRST COMMUNITIES = - feel much the same - like members are conquests - members are used like we're a cash machine to pull money out of And yeah, it's truly just like being another notch on the belt so the hustle bros* can brag about the $$$ from the launch. *QUICK NOTE about "hustle bros" --> I know this a gender-heavy marketing conversation. MEANWHILE... IN THIS ROOM, there are actual *GENTLEMEN*, so I want to take a moment to acknowledge that women can also show up as "hustle bros" and that men are often insanely thoughtful and gentlemanly in terms of the way they show up in life and business. This is not about man vs. woman. This is about the FEELING of being used or a conquest vs. the FEELING of being honored as a human. LET'S BRING THIS BABY HOME: In a community-first community where there are offers in place, there's no feeling of "notches on the belt" (which is obviously gross as a side note, but I make this analogy because I think we need to know that certain ways of showing up in relationships of ANY KIND feel genuinely... gross!). ➡️➡️➡️ YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS ONE?!
