Hello everybody I wanted to ask this question from a very long time so today I decided that I will ask you guys, guys I feel like quitting chess because I have been playing it for 10 months and I haven't seen much growth my peak rating was 1056 and my current rating at the time I am writing this post is 1025 I am not improving much there are my friends like Tap Gamer,Luciano Ivanovich there are much better than me and I like that( I am not jealous) in the next 48 hrs I will make my decision based on what you guys say. While writing this post I am actually very bad but I have to accept it and move forward. I never thought this would happen but it did you might be wondering what I am talking about? I am quitting online Chess. I am not doing this because I am tired or bored of Chess but I am doing it because of an incident. On 25th December my friend's birthday at 11 pm at night he messaged asking for school work then he asked why did you unfriend me I did unfriend him on roblox for my security and my parents didn't knew about that and I would never tell them cause they will beat the shit out of me if they ever caught me playing games. So my father asked what is this I said it is on chess.com the next day he checked chess.com and said you won't play chess and he gave my account to some random dude. Yesterday at school that stupid friend wasn't even sorry for his crime bro said okay it happens so now I am not talking to him anymore. My life is just too bad I never got real friends in school I never got someone whom I can trust. Now my question to all you guys is what should I do? Should I take the dark path and become like Light yagami or be innocent? Tell me I only trusted this community because you guys aren't like my friends.
