Most people never write their children’s book because of this…
They think they need • perfect grammar • a big publisher • fancy illustrations • or a “better idea” None of that is true. Every successful children’s book I’ve published started the same way One simple idea written badly at first. The only real difference between published authors and everyone else is this They start before they feel ready. 👇 Comment START if you already have an idea but haven’t written it yet. 👇 Comment IDEA if you want help finding one today. I’ll reply to every comment with a next step.

That would be away from that environment, and someone that will listen with no judgement. But I think every child is different. Still am really interested to learn from you, thanks.

@Zack Bush get away from that environment and talk to someone that will listen with no judgement. But I know every child is different. Am enjoying learning from you, thanks.
Let’s Clear Something Up (This Will Save You Time)
I want to say something important after reading a few replies and DMs. Not every good idea automatically becomes a great children’s book… and that’s okay. Some ideas: - need a clearer age target - work better as a different format - or are meaningful but not meant for mass kids readership That’s not failure. That’s clarity. This community isn’t about forcing ideas into a box. It’s about figuring out what actually works before you spend time, money, or energy. If you’re feeling unsure right now, you’re exactly where you should be. Quick question for you (reply with a letter): A) I have an idea but don’t know if it works for kids B) I have something started but I’m second-guessing it C) I’m brand new and just observing Tomorrow, I’ll walk through how I help people decide which ideas to move forward with and which to let go.

@Zack Bush just to remind you cause I would really like to know.
One sentence. No pressure.
Let’s make this easy. No critique. No feedback. No pressure. 👉 In ONE sentence, tell us: Who is your story for? (age + feeling, not plot) Example: “This is for a 6-year-old who feels left out sometimes.” I’ll reply to every single one.

Hmm don't know what that feeling is, but for young ones 5-year-old to learn good habits
👇 Introduce Yourself (This Matters More Than You Think)
Hey everyone 👋 I want to get to know who’s really in here so I can teach this the right way. Please reply with just 3 things (no pressure to be perfect): 1️⃣ Your name 2️⃣ Who the book is for (age + relationship , kid, grandchild, student, etc.) 3️⃣ What’s stopping you right now (time, confidence, ideas, publishing, etc.) You don’t need a full plan. You don’t need to be a “writer.” Just show up …that’s how books actually get written. I’ll be reading and responding to every reply 👀
