Started filming and taking my organic content seriously. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned: people can’t trust you if they never see you. You can have the knowledge. You can have the experience. You can know you can help people. But if you’re not consistently showing up online, people don’t get the opportunity to know you, learn from you, or build trust with you. I’ve realized that one of the reasons I haven’t been closing at the level I know I can is simple: I haven’t built enough trust in the space yet. So I’m changing that. More content. More value. More consistency. More visibility. Trust is built by showing up. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DchE-cBJdMB/?igsi=MWJ4MTczNm84dmNraA== Thanks to WOJOs Media team. I’m starting to get videos out. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DchE-cBJdMB/?igsi=MWJ4MTczNm84dmNraA==

Alejandro, the messages you mentioned getting from viewers seem like useful direction for the next videos. I'm learning to make teaching material clearer, and a real person's follow-up question gives you something concrete to explain. Did those messages point you toward a topic you hadn't planned to film?

Renee, I noticed you said most of your earlier leads came through referrals. With 38 years of experience and six books, you have a lot of specific questions you could help a homeowner understand. Before choosing a funnel, I’d pick one kind of move or property decision you want to be known for helping with. Are you returning to the same local market?
Here’s how I handle the typical “send me an email” objection on a cold call.
A lot of people say that we should try to book a meeting even after someone says “send me an email”. When I do that, it never goes anywhere. Even when I send them an email, they never reply. Not just this, when I try to call them again, they never pick up my phone. Instead of trying to force a meeting, here’s what I found works really well (at least for me). So when the prospect says “send me an email”, I don’t fight back. Sometimes, people are genuinely interested and they need some more time and space to make a decision. If you fight back, they feel like you’re forcing and trying to “sell”. I agree to sending them an email after confirming their email address. But, before I hang up, I ask a question. And this is key. This tells me if the prospect is genuinely interested or are they just trying to get off the phone. I ask, “Is it okay if I call you back this week, to see if you got a chance to read the email?” The ones who are really interested will say yes. But the ones who are not interested will say no. This helps me keep my expectations in check. Use it and let me know how it goes.

Daksh, I like letting somebody have room to think. I’d also ask what they want the email to answer, so they get something useful instead of a whole brochure they never asked for. Have you noticed a difference when the follow-up email addresses one specific question from the call? Getting permission to call again gives you a next step, but I’d want to know what they’re actually considering too.

@Dan Shea The denominator matters, Dan. One callback success doesn't tell us what happened to the other promises to talk later. I'd want the actual conversations and decisions recorded separately from the number of follow-up attempts. Your point about an 'interested' list becoming wishful thinking is relevant to how I think about sales too.
Show rate issue. How do I fix?
I got a new web design/marketing offer, booking loads of meetings through meta ads, but the show rate is terrible. I do 2 call close. Prospect show interest on setting call and do get their commitment to show up, but high number of them don't. Any idea how to fix this? Currently have automation for sms reminder to show on call only.

Koffivi, I'd also look at the gap between booking and the call. If most no-shows booked several days out, that's a different problem from people disappearing on a same-day appointment. Track that alongside the reminder responses before changing everything at once. How far ahead are people usually booking?

I'd be careful about solving this by putting several people in the same slot. If two do show up, one starts the relationship by waiting for a call they were told was theirs. A clear reason for the meeting and an easy way to reschedule seem worth checking before taking that trade-off.
