Just because you’ve had a breakthrough doesn’t mean faith stops being a struggle. Today was one of those days. Coming back to work after the weekend...they go too fast and I felt the grind. And while I’m thankful for my job — truly — it doesn’t mean it’s always easy to show up. I had to stop and breathe. I had to meditate. I had to listen to my Bible ap. I had to blast Christian music in the shower just to get my spirit moving again. And in the middle of it all, I felt Jesus whisper: “Just put one foot in front of the other. I’m here. Just one step.” The beauty of it all is that we don’t have to push through or procrastinate alone. Jesus is right there in the middle of our mess — in the grind, in the sighs, in the quiet moments where we admit, “I’m struggling.” And even when it feels selfish to complain about work or life or being tired, He still leans in and reminds us — those promises? They include you. He meant me, too. And He means you, too. 🌿 ✨ “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 💬 What do you do when you just don’t want to move forward? I’ve had the privilege of knowing Cris for many years! Long enough to watch him grow, change, and become the man he is today. Though he’s closer in age to my kids, our friendship has always carried this rare mix of honesty, faith, and mutual respect. @Cris Houlihan and I can talk about real life...faith, struggles, questions, and victories, without judgment or filters. We challenge each other, we listen, and we always end up pointing the conversation back to Jesus. Having him here in He Meant Me, Too feels right because this space is about truth, growth, and grace.
