Thank you so much for the amazing review @Dragos Nedelcu ! I will go through point by point that you mentioned in the video and remove a lot of the unnecessary parts! Can I ask you why should I remove the bootcamp course in the education part? Is this viewed as a bad thing in the industry?
Hi @Dragos Nedelcu I have completely redone my CV. I gave up on the picture and used the template you guys provide in the curriculum as at the end I thought it makes complete sense, and tried to follow you points. Still not sure about the bullet poins and if i properly put down the job description though. If there would be a chance to have a follow up that would be awesome, otherwise is totally fine I can keep following the guidelines you guys provide in the curriculum! Many thanks once again!
Hey there, Many of you asked for a CV review :) My time is very limited, I can't look at all your CVs, so here comes a better idea. I will review 3 CVs and post the review here in the community so everyone can benefit from it. Just comment below with the text "CV review" in the next 48 hours. We will pick everyone, and feed it to an algorithm that will randomly pick 3 people who will get the free review. Winners will be published this Saturday! Let the game begin, Dragos
What are some good resources to learn about frontend system design and have a good overview to prepare for interviews? I feel quite comfortable with the live coding one, but I've never done this type of interview before and it feels much scarier to start with a blank canvas with no code to rely on. π¬
Thank u so much for all your amazing work @Bogdan Nedelcu ! I think there is never an ending in studying JS, for how much we want to specialize in many other things but I always find myself that when I get back to the fundamentals I still have a lot to learn!
Hi everyone, I went through the technical assessment. I need to ramp up my skills in testing, CI/CD, systems architecture. In my company, there are separate teams for devops and QA, so our dev team is not involved in unit tests, deployment etc. I do not get end-to-end development experience. I will appreciate any suggestions to fill in the gaps. Thanks
Yes I would definitely focus on unit and integration testing! Myself I'm still learning a lot as I started working on a new project where we have to create our unit and integration testing of the components we implement. Is a bit difficult at the beginning but after you start seeing a much more strict pattern as the type of code that you write.
