Can I ask you something?
What's the one thing you'd most love some support with right now — with food, with your body, all of it? It might be not trusting your hunger, it might be evening eating, it might be feeling uncomfortable with how you look. Or something else entirely. I'm always working on new things in here and I want it to feel relevant to you. So if you feel like sharing, I'd love to hear where you're at 🤍 Drop it below 👇

@Annette Rose yes body acceptance is a huge part of this work, and detaching our worth from our weight is key to this🤍will look at a free resource to support with this, 👍
Eating "healthy" might actually be making things harder🤍
When food becomes something you have to 'get right', every meal carries this weight it was never meant to have. And that pressure tends to create the exact patterns you're trying to move away from. The all-or-nothing. The eating that feels chaotic. The shame afterwards. What if eating well looking caring for yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally? Eating when you're hungry. Eating foods you actually enjoy, not fearing loss of control eating, or feeling exhausted with the running commentary of food guilt. It's a quieter way of living with food. And such a kinder one. Has your idea of "eating well" shifted since you found intuitive eating? Would love to hear how.

@Annette Rose I’m really pleased to hear about the connections you are making for yourself around your inner critic and how this affects your relationship to food, therapy can also be so insightful to help with deepening our understanding of ourselves in relation to where and why these patterns develop in our lives.🙏

@Amanda Connell this is wonderful to hear that you are lessening the pattern of restriction and noticing how your body’s wisdom is responding to this, knowing the path is not linear and you will go back forth many times between acceptance and the desire to restrict again. These are all completely normal reactions on the way to healing your relationship with food and body.
What is intuitive eating?
Happy monday everyone.🥰 I made a quick 10 minute video explaining the intuitive eating framework and how it can transform your health. You can check out the video below. Would love to hear your thoughts🤍

What is your greatest challenge this week?
What have you been struggling with this week? And what small action can you take to support yourself? I’ve been struggling this week with the mental impact of a flare up of a condition in my lumbar spine which has been quite limiting in my ability to do my usual day to day tasks My supportive action has been to continue to read my spine rehab protocol, which has great words of empowerment and reassurance to help remind me that this is not permanent and I will make a full recovery.🙏

@Annette Rose pain can feel so confusing can’t it and it can really affect mental functioning too, sending you lots of healing hugs!💕
Try this before your next meal ✨
Before you next eat, just take a second to notice where you are. Are you standing at the counter? Scrolling? Half watching something on TV? Working at your computer? No judgement at all, most of us do it without even realising. But all of those things pull us away from what's actually happening in our bodies while we eat — the hunger, the satisfaction, that moment when you start to feel full. So the practice is simple: sit down, take a breath, and try eating without any distractions. That's it. And then notice what's different. Maybe nothing feels different at first — that's okay too. But you might be surprised what you start to pick up on when you give yourself a little space to actually listen. Let me know in the comments what you observed 👇🤍
