Late to the party: I just got started on this topic this week, but found this video where he built a turbine out of a washing machine and used it to run all the appliances in his house for 16 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb6TIWub6KU&t=41s i still have a lot of knowledge and understanding to acquire when it comes to power and elecricity, so can't judge if it's feasible for those who have a source of constant flowing water, but nevertheless could help as inspiration :D?
