How to get 1st client?
Is there any advice on how to get the first client as a funnel agency?

@Teodor Babbage I really don't have a clue how to optimize your social media profile. I think the most important thing is to convince potential clients to join on a call with you, I prefer video calls. If they agree to have a call with you, they are already showing interest and you can show them your work, even if they are just personal projects.

Don’t Lose Sight of the North Star: Funnels Are About Sales, Not Just Design
Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹ I’ve noticed a pattern here in the community—a lot of people are putting heavy emphasis on funnel design. While a strong design is important and shows professionalism, it’s not the main purpose of a funnel. The main goal of any funnel is to make sales. That’s why clients hire us—to create something that not only looks good but also drives revenue. So while it’s great to improve design skills, remember that design is only a small part of a profitable funnel. Here’s the framework I recommend focusing on, in order of importance: 1. Understand Your Client’s Market and Niche: Every funnel should start here. Research your client’s market and understand their audience. Ask yourself: Who is the ideal customer? What are their needs? What’s currently working or not working in this space? 2. Create an Irresistible Offer: The offer is the heart of the funnel. It needs to clearly solve a problem and provide undeniable value to the target audience. Work with your client to develop something so compelling that it moves visitors through the funnel and encourages them to take action. 3. Craft a Compelling Sales Message: Once the offer is set, develop a strong sales message that speaks directly to the audience. This includes the main sales pitch, key benefits, and persuasive copy that aligns with the market’s language and tone. 4. Choose the Right Funnel Strategy: Not all funnels are created equal. Is this for a low-ticket product, high-ticket service, webinar, or challenge? Each of these requires a different structure. For example, you could start with a low-ticket offer and use an upsell funnel to move buyers into a high-ticket offer later. 5. Design That Supports the Strategy: Finally, design comes into play. Now that you have the core elements, create a design that aligns with the message. For example, if you’re targeting IT professionals, use clean, logical designs that speak to their analytical nature. If the niche is personal development, the design can be more inspirational and colorful. Design should always match the tone of the funnel and serve the goal of driving conversions.

@Siyabonga Dlamini Whenever I analyze a client’s funnel, I always start by looking at their offer. I do this because the offer is the foundation—everything else, like the sales message, builds around it. A strong offer is one that addresses and eliminates all objections potential clients might have about the product or service. I’ve noticed that many funnels have great design, but the offer itself is weak or unappealing. I use this as a way to get on a call with them. I explain where the offer is falling short and, during the call, I work with them to create an irresistible and attractive offer. I do this for free initially to show the value I can bring if we work together. This strategy has been working very well for me so far.
Is funnel university compatible with Click-funnels
I really want to buy the course, but from what I’ve seen Gusten uses High Level and I’m more into Click Funnels so is the course’s content like design and other sections will be suitable for click-funnels?

Absolutely! Funnel University is compatible with ClickFunnels and really any funnel builder platform. The course is focused on creating profitable funnels and growing your skills as a funnel designer, whether you’re a freelancer or looking to build an agency. Inside, you’ll learn strategies for building funnels, crafting offers, sales messaging, copywriting, and more. These core principles apply to any platform, whether it’s ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Funnels.so, or even WordPress with a funnel plugin. While the content is universal, you’ll just need basic knowledge of your chosen platform—like where to add custom CSS if needed. But overall, it’s highly compatible and provides value across different builders.

If this is your first landing page design, it’s impressive—you’ve done a great job! Just a few adjustments: I noticed you used some blob shapes, which work well, but in the ā€œOur Servicesā€ section, the photos are quite square. I’d suggest rounding the corners with a border radius of 10 or 20 to soften the look. The copywriting could also use a bit more refinement, but overall, it’s a solid first design. Keep it up!

Hey @Emerald Dryad If you’re just searching for design inspiration to practice or refine your funnel design skills, it’s easy—just go to Pinterest or Dribbble and search for ā€œlanding page designs.ā€ You’ll find tons of examples to redesign and replicate, which is a great way to build your skills. If you’re interested in finding clients and offering free design samples, here’s the exact strategy I share with all the members of this community—and it’s how I started as well: 1. Choose a niche like consulting, fitness trainers, etc. 2. Search on Facebook for pages in that niche and check if they’re running ads. 3. If they are, you’ll have access to their landing pages or funnels. Analyze the funnel, find areas for improvement, and create a free design to showcase those changes. 4. When reaching out, try to find their WhatsApp or phone number so you can send a direct message—it’s much more likely to get a response than email.
