Pack a few different sizes of baby’s first clothes in your bag - just in case! Get the bigger knickers, I promise you will want the comfort! If you’re having trouble with latching, breast pumps were my blessing. I wish I’d searched Vinted and had the option to purchase one at a fraction of the cost of Amazon prime, but times were desperate and I needed it quick! Be kind to yourself and tell yourself beautiful things. Everything is overwhelming. There is beauty everywhere but when the sleep deprivation takes over and you feel like you can’t do the right thing remind yourself that you are the creator of life! My fondest memory of early post partum is sitting in my window seat, the sun showering us as we looked at the leaves starting to grown on the trees. I must have stared in awe at my favourite human for what seemed like hours. That bubble is so precious. Enjoy it ❤️
