Sunday Funday... 🎵 If Your Animal Companion Had a Theme Song...
Choose the song that best matches your animal companion's personality—don't overthink it! Just go with your first instinct. 🎸 "I Want It All" – Queen Always on the go. Driven. Adventurous. Looking for the next challenge. 🎉 "Celebration" – Kool & The Gang Life is a party! Loves everyone, thrives on fun and attention. 🤝 "You've Got a Friend in Me" – Randy Newman Loyal, comforting, happiest when everyone is together. 🕵️ "Mission: Impossible Theme" Focused. Clever. Likes routines. Always figuring things out. 🌊 "The Sound of Silence" – Simon & Garfunkel Thoughtful. Sensitive. Observant. Prefers peace over chaos. Which one did you choose? 👇 Tell us the song—and why!

Sunday Reflection: Your Animal Companion - Student or Partner?
Conversations this week have me thinking about the unrecognized depth of our relationships. Whether with a human partner, or animal companion. Most relationships push us to become more than we were the day before... the relationship before... We may see ourselves as the caregiver, as the one doing the prompting, tending to needs, but in reality, this process is actually helping to shape our lives and our understanding of one another. We push, they push back or they comply... they push, we push back or comply... It's an intricate dance of growth and connection. Whether you see this as a soul partnership, or as something random between two individuals, the way we relate to each other is part of our continued mutual development and healing. Here is something to ponder in your quiet moments of reflection... What have I had to step into, or become, in order to be in care for them? Think of the ways you've grown since they came into your life, perhaps without even noticing. What have I had to learn to truly meet them where they are? Not to fix or change them, but to understand them and be with them exactly as they are. Has this actually been one of the lessons you have had to learn? When you begin to see your animal companion as more than your responsibility, and actually as your partner in this lifetime, something shifts. Caring for them stops being only a chore and becomes a relationship that's shaping you as much as it shapes them.

My dog Nelly and my horse Mr Kipps are both my greatest teachers. Nelly has taught me that physical boundaries matter, not all dogs enjoy physical touch, that doesn't mean he loves me less. Mr Kipps has taught me to slow down, to be present and not always doing, that the best training is often spending time together without an agenda.

Happy Sunday!
🌿 Happy Sunday! What are you doing today to relax and deepen your connection with your animal companion? Sometimes a little "attention with intention" is all they really desire... your complete and undivided presence. Whether it's a walk, a cuddle on the couch, quiet time in the garden, or simply sitting together, those moments of connection often mean the most. 🐾 What does connection look like for you and your animal companion today?
Happy Sunday!
