Potential scam
Dane I recently came across a telegram group that seemed legit at first but after many dms back and forth with the supposed owner he says to jointohave to do a $1 test ytansfer to verify you have crypto funds and to do that they insist you connect to a trust wallet it sounded like the beginning of them stealing from me so i didn’t do it ai tells me this is likely a scam do you agree? Would there he any reason to connect to dome one else's trust wallet?

Sounds sketchy. Trust wallet is a legitimate hot wallet but I would be a bit wary of people contacting you in the chats privately in any groups. Keep in mind when you send funds from any wallet to someone else the receiver can see your total holdings if they choose to do a search up your wallet addresss. (You can trace back from the wallet to the origins.) Maybe as best practice get into habit of keeping wallets seperate for security. I'm not an expert, im new too but security needs to be first. If it feels sketchy it probably is.
