Topics for our 5AM Calls
I want to hear from you guys - what do you want me to talk about on these calls. I am thinking productivity hacks - one of them being keeping your phone outside the bedroom, using apps to block social media, scheduling using calendar all the way to some business & investing hacks. How about we all pitch in with ideas in this thread and I can pick one every day and get the day started on a super positive note. 15 mins, 1 topic - every day :)

@Benj Manuel I never thought about it in these terms. But in retrospect, it mostly comes from the expectation and desire to deliver more, which ends up breaking a few things along the way.

@Benj Manuel Iโ€™m not completely sure about that yet. But now I have started drawing line after which I don't change anything.
Dopamine Reset
Inspired by Dopamine Detox(book): reclaim focus and discipline. Limit screen time, avoid instant gratification, schedule deep work, and train your brain to do hard things daily. (DM for pdf)

@Nicole Preus I've done it for 3 days during summer. Now planning to do it around Christmas for 7 days and this time I'll try to learn something new
Read & Rise
Thinking of starting a small reading group to learn from books and each other. Interested? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XcYHtkQ4pYWMMIsezYHAHQU7-YCXAeq3kMiWNL_BkNA/edit?usp=sharing

Coffee, Chaos, and Chapter One
I'm a strong believer of learning through books โ€” true understanding comes from reading and reflection. Iโ€™d love to suggest that we pick a common topic to explore โ€” either the same book or different ones. We could spend some early mornings just on weekends or holidays reading, then share our insights together in the 5 AM Club after a few weeks.

Once we gather at least 10 votes, I suggest we proceed with developing a concrete action plan.

On 10th Nov, we discussed to-do lists, referencing The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Itโ€™s a good read on time management, productivity, and psychology. I recommend starting it by 21st Nov so we can finish before year-end. Share your suggestion if youโ€™d prefer a different book!
1-3-5 Rule
Continuing from todayโ€™s discussion, Iโ€™m sharing a tip I try to follow โ€” the 1-3-5 rule. It helps me structure my day: 1 big task, 3 medium tasks, and 5 small ones. This approach keeps priorities clear, avoids overwhelm, and builds steady progress. Planning it the night before makes 5 AM mornings more focused and purposeful!
