A little help if you could.
I grew up with an older brother back in the 70's and 80's, we were always bashing heads and ripping 7 sheets out of each other, I remember at the time feeling like I was a bit hard done by, he went to a better school (I wasn't clever enough for that), he had better clothes than me, he had a better bike than me, it always seemed like he was better off than me. I know it's bullshit now, but these are the things that shape us, and I'm sure some of you have been in a similar position with your siblings. I moved out of home when I was 18 to be farther to my first child, responsibility of a house and partner to take care of, bloody hard work at the time, lost my dad to cancer at 19 which left a gaping hole in my life, and the stress of trying to hold it all together for my family, all the while my brother is still living at home, working the family business, which I left having gone there straight from school, there was no way I could work with him, so it felt like once again, he'd had me over. I was a rebel through my teens, and I suppose it carried on for a while longer with me making mistakes, which I now know were just life's lessons, surely at some point my dumbass would actually start learning from them. Today I look back at it knowing it's what shaped me, painful lessons, that at times tore me to ribbons, and made me ask questions like "Why is this shit always happening to me ?", we all know the answer to that is I did it to myself. When I reflect on what I have done, I've made a hell of a life, full of experiences my brother will never feel as that's not his way, we're at a point where we can be in the same room as each other now, although there is a niggle there, I know he is a good egg, and with everything I've learnt, the past is the past, you can't change it, so just move on to the next part of the story, and that's now why I help others to achieve the same. Sitting on your arse worrying about shit won't change it, look at it objectively, use the power of thought to come up with a more palatable solution, then make sure you implement it, problem solved, issue averted.

And BREATHE…….
Welcome to today’s rollacoaster, just part of life’s ups and downs. While you have the time, make sure it counts, look after your body and your mind. Servicing your car only gets you to places, servicing your body and mind can take you anywhere you want. Be honest, be resilient, show that you care, those alone will take you further than you can possibly imagine.

Intro
Hi I’m Gary from Compass Coaching, welcome my SKOOL community. The Compass Collective is a community for 40–60 year olds who feel life has become a bit too mundane, a bit too repetitive, and a bit too “same old shit again. ”You may be keeping everything going, doing what needs to be done, and looking fine from the outside, but deep down, you know you are yearning for more. More purpose. More connection. More direction. More life. This is an interactive community, not a spectator sport. You are expected to get involved: ask questions, join real conversations, share your thoughts, and actually be a part of the community. This is not a place for sitting back and watching from the sidelines and doing bugger all. The Compass Collective is for people who may not yet know exactly what they want next, but know they cannot keep ignoring that quiet inner voice asking, “Is this how it’s going to end ?” and want to stand up and say “NO IT’S BLOODY NOT”. Membership is free. Participation matters. Connection is the point. Direction is the goal. REAL LANGUAGE IS A MUST.

Pissed off but bouncing back
I've decided to change it up a bit and develop a more meaningful direction for me, and maybe some of you. I'm taking a no bullshit approach to my work and my life, which will hopefully benefit us all. I found myself ready to leave Blighty for sunnier climbs, and once again the gods of shit happens have stepped in and buggered it up, old heart problems resurfacing put the mockers on my dreams for a little while longer. Well I'm sorry, but I'm not having it, with a sense of adventure and 2 fingers up to them, I'm still enjoying life with a smile on my face, and nothing will take that away, I'm just going to have an interim adventure while I wait. Honesty, resilience and caring are my top values and always will be, interaction plays a major roll for me with this community, I plan to get us all taking part.
