Recommendation for ski holiday on my own?
As a widower for nearly 2 years now, I need to be more courageous and have a ski holiday on my own (probably in Feb). I am going twice in March - Andorra El Tarter with mates, and mid March to Tignes Le Lac with my daughters and son in law. Last year I had 3 separate weeks skiing in Jan, Feb, and March. But this year I won't be going till March. Any recommendations for someone going alone in Jan or Feb?

@Steve Whiteley Just to confirm I will be skiing solo in El Tarter from March 2nd to March 7th as my two friends have had to pull out due to ill health. Let me know if you want to ski together for a few runs - I will be staying near the El Tarter chairlift and gondola but of course can meet up somewhere mutually convenient up the mountain. @Steve Whiteley I have been to El Tarter many times in the last few years - roaming definitely off! But most hotels and restaurants seem to have good wifi so we can use that to connect up. Skiing in Tignes two weeks after this with my daughters and son in law but had to go solo for this one - so it will be good to meet up for a ski run or two.

@Jocelyn Cockle Probably March! Often gets slushy in the afternoon in some resorts. I ski it a bit like powder - not leaning forward so much and wider turns with skis close together. But maybe this could be improved....

I enjoyed it - and it inspired me to book a solo holiday to Tignes in Feb - I am also going there in March with my daughters. I did this run many years ago with my late wife (we used to stay in La Daille in Val) - looking forward to doing it again and then bringing my girls down it in March. Sometimes the best ski videos are like this, showing a whole run. So more like this please.

Sorted out my wi-fi extenders and incorporating a new printer in my house - feels like an achievement to me anyway! And managed to fix the skipping gears on my bike - so my 24 mile ride in Richmond Park this week was faster and smoother.

Nearly 70 but still skiing 2 to 3 weeks per season. Retired so playing guitar and recording in my studio, and cycling in Richmond Park every week.
