🎉 Wednesday Win: Have You Heard of the Progress Principle?
Today's idea comes from Teresa Amabile's research on what actually keeps people motivated, and it completely changed how I think about success. Most of us believe motivation comes from the big moments. "I'll feel successful when I launch." "When I get my first sale." "When I hit my income goal." But what if motivation doesn't come from the finish line? Amabile's research introduced The Progress Principle, the idea that one of the biggest drivers of motivation is making meaningful progress, even in small ways. Instead of asking: ❌ "Have I made it yet?" you ask: ✅ "What progress did I make today?" It's a subtle shift, but a powerful one. It moves us from chasing occasional breakthroughs to recognizing the small wins that build momentum. Over the next few Wednesdays, I'd love to explore this idea together through the lens of Income Without Burnout. Not just how we celebrate success... But how do we notice the progress that creates it? 💬 To start us off, finish this sentence in the comments: One win I'm celebrating this week is...

🤖 How are you using AI to grow, scale, and automate your business?
Here are some of the ways I’m using it right now: ✨ Image generation ✨ Organization and project planning ✨ Amazon analysis ✨ Webpage makeovers ✨ Writing posts and content ✨ Building interactive artifacts and tools for my communities ✨ Building AI agents to start taking over repeatable jobs in my business Every week I discover another way AI can help me create, teach, or simplify my work. I’m using it less as a chatbot and more as a teammate each day. What are you using AI for in your business? I’d love to hear what’s working for you👇

@Sybil Hall It's just about giving them exact details of what you want it to look like, and sometimes, I add a graphic I like and they include it.
How One $7 Membership Changed My Business
Back in 2022, I was in another entrepreneur program when someone on social media told me about @Evelyn Weiss. At the time, she was running memberships and selling low ticket offers on Facebook. What caught my attention was that her membership was only $7 a month. I joined and was honestly blown away by the value. Then in February 2023, she announced she was participating in the very first Skool Games. I had already been exploring membership platforms and was spending time in communities on Circle and other platforms, but I loved the feel, simplicity, and gamification of Skool. Watching Evelyn build her community and earn second place in the Skool Games in just one month was incredibly inspiring and fun to follow. That was the moment I decided to move my own very early membership to Skool. The rest is history. Today, I run multiple communities here, have met amazing people, and have built income streams and opportunities that simply would not have existed if I hadn’t taken that first $7 chance. The reason I’m sharing this story is because Evelyn has just opened a new $7 tier inside her community. If you’ve ever been curious about learning from her, this may be the perfect entry point into her world: Grow with Evelyn And if you’ve been thinking about starting your own Skool community, you can open one for $9/month here. If you use my link, I’ll also help you get started with some coaching: Start Your Own Skool Community Funny how sometimes one small $7 decision ends up changing the direction of your business. ✨

Had a similar journey. Grateful for @Evelyn Weiss for introducing me her teachings.
Watercolor Pencils for the Win
This morning I pulled out my new watercolor pencils, a small watercolor book, and turned on Brain.fm in distress mode. I had no idea what to paint. I’m a complete beginner. So I found a YouTube Short, took a screenshot of the general setup, and simply tried to recreate it. And I loved it. I loved the feeling of the pencils on the textured watercolor paper. I loved adding the water and watching the colors come alive. I loved how focused and calm it made me feel. It’s funny how something new can feel a little intimidating until you actually start. Needless to say, watercolor pencils have officially earned a spot in my analog basket. 😊 What have you added to your analog basket lately? Or what analog hobby have you been curious to try? PS- I’m off to start reading the miracle morning! Thanks again for the recommendation @Donna Thornton
