Just finished watching the videos in the two modules uploaded so far. Rob you put things in such an easy to understand way. I’m loving this and can’t wait for the first meet up online. I’ve already noticed a few names from other groups I’m in so that makes it easier being part of a new group. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Welcome to The Hitmakers Circle!
Welcome to The Hitmakers Circle! I'm so glad you're here. Whether you're writing your very first song or you've been making music for years, you've joined a community of people who share one common goal: writing better songs and growing together as artists, songwriters, and producers. Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be adding new courses, live Q&A sessions, songwriting challenges, production breakdowns, industry insights, and behind-the-scenes looks at my own writing process. My goal is to share the techniques, lessons, successes, and failures I've experienced during more than 30 years in the music industry. This isn't just a place to watch videos. It's a place to ask questions, share your music, receive constructive feedback, collaborate with other members, and continue growing as a songwriter. Let's get to know each other! Please introduce yourself by telling us: - Your name and where you're from - What instruments you play (if any) - Your favourite style of music - How long you've been writing songs - One songwriting goal you'd love to achieve this year - If you could co-write with any artist or songwriter, who would it be? Don't worry if you're just getting started. Every professional songwriter was once a beginner, and everyone here is at a different stage of their journey. I encourage you to jump into the conversations, support one another, and never be afraid to ask questions. Some of the best lessons come from simply being part of the discussion. Thanks for being here. I can't wait to hear your music. Rob

Hi all. I’ve been writing lyrics since the 80s but they were just shoved to one side until I joined the tsa about three years ago. I like most music especially jazz, soul and rock. Among my heroes were Marvin Faye and John Lennon. I would love to have a song placed with an artist or get a sync placement. I don’t really play anything but can find my way around a few major and minor chords. Lyrics and melody are my thing but I struggle with finding chords that will lift a song. I usually put just basic chords in really. I’m learning to produce on logic so I can make a half decent demo of my songs. Been waiting for this Rob to refocus me as been drifting since TSA so thanks.
